HAY THERE! to everyone watching me old and new, i know ive been neglecting to post anything here for over a year now~
Its not that i've not been arting, but work never really let up on me. i ended up having a lot less time than i wanted to do anything, but still managed to eke out some stuff (just not to a regular quality that i would share)
BUT TIME FOR THE BIG NEWS
I'm getting a promotion!
I'll be going from my current role, straight through the ranks up to "banned from premises!"
(okay, for real im leaving though, not being fired. had enough of work taking up all my time and energy, and all my moods being flavours of Dread/salt/anger )
and ill be trying to go for a part-timer job, plus maining Art!
Watch this space, because im currently tinkering and hitting stuff with a wrench to try shape up for commissions and posting regularly!
i'd use this space to say thank you to everyone i know who believed in me enough to give me the confidence to get myself out of a bad job which i don't enjoy anymore.
Without you all, i would have stayed in it , burning myself out day by day until an inevitable breakdown (again) and another panic scramble for exactly the same type of job.
that's not how life should be.
i love you all, and thank you so much again~

so i really suck at posting journals here, its not that im any less active, i just post them less.
whilst ive not had as much time for art as id like, i've opened commissions for a while now!
people have been snapping them up, which is nice , giving me something worthwhile to do on my days off from work.
work is still kicking my butt up and down the year, but im hoping it will ease off in the coming weeks , and free me up to start learning new things about art again. as it stands, im just arting, and less learning right now.
still, hope everyone whos around is doing ok!

Back to work! (plus art shenanigans)
So, just a quick update on what i'm up to (seeing as i post more on FA lately)
Still doing art, but a little more spaced out , and trying to put a little more effort into it. its slower, but its feeling more rewarding too (even if some days it feels like a grind)
Shortly, i start work again! as i do a fair few hours , i won't have as much time for art so it might die back just a little bit ( balancing days off with chores, chauffer dutys, call ins for work, gaming, reading ect) but ill try and check in daily , and post WIPS or SCRAPS so that people stay updated.
Here's a huge shout out for everyone who has started watching me, or who has kept watching me, thank you very much for the support and encouragment the last few months. It's really encouraged me to try and keep some sort of presence here again. its been wild
FINAL PART . im finally on the last month of the insanity workout after 5 grueling weeks .
the results have been awesome, ive lost most of my lockdown pudge (from 3 lockdowns) and am fitter than i've ever been. even if me and my housemate ACHESOBAD everyday from it.
only one month left to go before we have to find something new to do again!

Free gift art .. For real
So , I sorta pushed myself into a mental block already Butttt I'm still super wanting to do arts . Biggest problem is I'm bored away from artin, and same old pattern of lack of imagination just leads me in circles of picking up and putting down the pen.
This is making me mainly sketch and only turn a handful into anything I'll post here.
SECOND SO
I'll doodle something free for peeps . Probably even colour it and slap a little background on.
I'll pick a small selection of peeps , I probably wont notify you if I chose you but all you gotta do is post a link to a legible sona ref , and optionally , a theme .(think , rave , natural , abstract, headshot ect)
Because I'm not doing it for money or anything (in respect to all the people who do art for a living) there ain't no timeframe or Wips or anything , cause it ain't a commission.
After a day , I'll pick people (unless no one comments and then I'll reset the journal)
I'll also be picking people from FA too , so it probably wont be many in total but if It works out I'll expand on it
Ps : wont draw anything super wierd or NSFW. Do the test. If you could let a family member see it and not raise hard questions , itll fly with me
